Formed in 1999, Resto Pro is a world-class franchisor of an outstanding and diverse portfolio of restaurant concepts which includes Nickels Grill & Bar, Vinnie Gambini's Ristorante & Bar, Roasters Rotisserie & Bar and our 2 new concepts Cumulus Restaurant and Mio Vino.

The roots of Resto Pro date back to 1990 when five friends, one of which was singing sensation and pop diva Céline Dion, wanted to open a restaurant that was as much fun as the food was good. They created Nickels Restaurants, a nostalgic return to the 50's with a modern touch where rock'n roll played over the jukebox and people from all over the city lined up to enjoy the burgers and shakes. Nickels was an instant success and quickly began franchising in 1993 to keep up with the demand. Today Nickels has evolved to a Grill & Bar concept, while retaining the main principales of it's success, Good Times & Great Food.

Given its overwhelming success, Resto Pro was formed in 1999 and diversified its portfolio by developing and franchising new restaurant concepts. From 2002 to 2006 Resto Pro doubled the sales of one of its brands, Baton Rouge, from 40 million to 80 million. In Dec 2006 Resto Pro sold the Baton Rouge brand in order to concentrate on the developpemnet of Vinnie Gambini's and the introduction of its newest concepts Mesa Cuisine and Bar Restaurant and Mio Vino. Today, Resto Pro franchises restaurants under four different banners. There are over 30 locations operating in Canada most of which are franchised units. Annual system-wide sales exceed 45 million.

Resto Pro is strategically positioned to continue and strengthen long-term growth. Our management team is proud of its accomplishments and enthusiastic about the future. We are working hard to increase our leadership position in the industry and strive to achieve our 15% yearly growth objectives.
